RIDGEFIELD, WA. (February 9th, 2018) – Witness some of the best free, live entertainment that the Pacific Northwest has to offer at ilani starting on Monday, February 12th. Prepare yourself for a week-long celebration with Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day and fantastic music in Muze capped off by a performance from Platinum recording artists Parmalee on Saturday!

Monday the 12th
Kick your week off with some afternoon entertainment from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. At 28 years of age, Seattle native Danny Quintero has shared the stage with many high profile musicians. Danny’s keen ear for subtle nuances of the Sinatra school of ‘Bel Canto’ singing-articulation, phrasing, dynamics and breath control have brought a fresh, like-able and personalized approach to the Great American Songbook. He continues to make appearances on Seattle radio stations, at Jazz clubs throughout the Pacific Northwest and more notably has performed several times with the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra at Benaroya Hall. In December of 2013, Danny successfully released his Christmas Album, “Merry Christmas” with acclaimed pianist, Randy Halberstadt and special guests Clarence Acox and Katie Davi.

Tuesday the 13th
Celebrate Mardi Gras with 2x the Momentum Dollars! Play your favorite slots and table games on Tuesday the 13th from 3:00PM to 6:00PM to earn Double Momentum Dollars. Each Momentum Dollar equals $1.00 in our shops and restaurants. After, get in the spirit of New Orleans at Muze! Muze is calling all Zydeco music lovers, dancers and Mardi Gras partiers! From 7:00PM to 11:00PM Muze will host a “Fat Tuesday” Party complete with live music from Zydeco Rex. Zydeco Rex was founded in 2013 in Seattle, grown from its members’ 25+ years of collective experience playing the exciting and joyful dance music of Southwest Louisiana. Zydeco music dates back to the 1940’s when the great Clifton Chenier took his love of Blues music, blended it with Cajun roots and Rock music, and named it Zydeco.  Zydeco comes from the French phrase “les haricots”, which is short for the expression of hard times, “les haricots son pas sale,” or “the snap beans aren’t salty.” Enjoy free, festive Mardi Gras party favors starting at 7:00PM to help to celebrate at the Mardi Gras Party.

After nearly a decade of performing for local crowds, they released their 2013 breakout single “Carolina,” a Platinum-certified #1 hit, finally launching the group into stardom.
