RIDGEFIELD, WA. (April 12, 2018) – Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo at ilani with free, live entertainment unlike anywhere else! First, at 8:00PM relive the glory days with Reel Big Fish, playing smash hits off their gold certified album Turn the Radio Off and others like “Sell Out.” Then, at 10:00PM stay late night to vibe with DJ SHIFT, one of Las Vegas’ top DJs who has opened for entertainers such as Steve Aoki, Zedd, Calvin Harris, and many more!

Reel Big Fish
Reel Big Fish was one of the legions of Southern California ska-punk bands to edge into the mainstream following the mid-’90s success of No Doubt and Sublime. Like most of their peers, the band was distinguished by their hyperkinetic stage shows, juvenile humor, ironic covers of new wave pop songs, and metallic shards of ska. The group cultivated an underground following that broke into the mainstream in summer 1997, when their single “Sell Out” became a modern rock radio and MTV favorite. Their appearance in the movie “Baseketball” as the halftime band also gained them more fans and helped the band’s popularity to grow. Still fronted by original lead singer and song writer Aaron Barrett, they continue releasing albums and touring relentlessly, playing more and more countries and bigger venues all over the world. Watch them perform in Muze at 8:00PM on Saturday, May 5th.

DJ SHIFT
DJ Shift is an American DJ and producer of electronic dance music. “Shift,” meaning change, suits his personality and skillset perfectly when talking about his craft. This is due to his well-known ability to work with any genre of music, or combination of multiple genres at one time, to produce dynamic and high energy music sets. In addition Shift is quite known by most in the industry for possessing one of the most critical skillsets of being a professional DJ, which is the ability to read the crowd and change a performance on-the-fly in order to keep the energy of the event high. It is because of these two aspects that the name “Shift” became perfectly fitting. But no matter what you call him or whether or not you’ve ever seen him perform, one thing is for sure, when he’s performing for you, you will surely know it. A triple threat of music talent, personality, and fashion sense Shift has become a member in a class all his own after opening for entertainers such as Steve Aoki, Zedd, Calvin Harris, and many more. Come vibe with him in Muze starting at 10:00PM on Saturday, May 5th.
