Known as the “Empress of Soul”, Gladys Knight has a musical catalog that spans across 35 albums and multiple genres. Knight is well known for her role as the lead vocalist in the legendary soul group Gladys Knight & The Pips. She went on to achieve monumental success with The Pips including multiple Top 10 gold certified singles such as “I Heard it Through the Grapevine” and “Midnight Train to Georgia”. Knight has her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. After years of success with The Pips, the group as a whole was inducted into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame.
