ilani is Temporarily Closed Through April 8th

The Cowlitz Indian Tribe is dedicated to supporting the health and safety of team members, our communities and our neighbors. Like countless others, we have had to make some difficult decisions in recent days and weeks amidst the coronavirus pandemic, including the temporary closure of ilani. Suspending operations at ilani was the right decision and made in cooperation with guidelines from the CDC and local and state authorities. We are committed to doing our part in helping to slow the spread of COVID-19, and therefore, we have agreed to again defer to guidelines from the State of Washington. On March 23, Governor Jay Inslee issued stay-at-home orders and the closure of non-essential businesses for at least two weeks, which means that ilani will extend its closure until at least April 8. We will continually reassess our re-opening date as new information and guidance is released from authorities.

A limited number of team members will remain on site to secure our assets and to operate the Cowlitz Crossing Fuel and Convenience Store which will remain open to the public 24/7 during the stated time. To further support efforts, we continue to offer discounted specials for our quality gasoline and convenience store products. Additionally, the Cowlitz Indian Tribe has announced contributions to several nonprofit organizations on the frontlines in helping those in most need during this crisis. Our goal right now is to support our team members and communities as much as we can during this closure, and our hope is that these drastic measures will help provide the relief needed to contain COVID-19.
